Jedi doctrine treats the light as selflessness, peace, and the will of the Force ahead of the self. It is a practice, not a glow. Guardians of the Whills, some healers, and Jedi who left the Order still stand in it. The saber color does not certify it.
Calling yourself light does not make a strike mercy.
