Life generates the field. The present is the lesson. Qui-Gon lived here; the Council often did not.

Cosmic Force

All living energy feeds a larger will. Destiny, binding, what speaks after death.

Balance

The Order said the Chosen One would bring it. They did not agree what the word meant.

Light

The light is how you use the field when you are not trying to own it.

The bridge

Midi-chlorians did not invent the Force. They named how life hears it.

Awareness

To feel the field at all. Everyone starts here, including people who will never lift a stone.

Push, pull, hold

The most filmed use. A crate, a throat, a fighter, a throne.

Foresight

Visions are true and incomplete. Anakin’s were both.

Lightning

Sidious’s signature. Dooku’s court trick. Rey, once, in a hangar she did not mean to break.

Absorb / deflect

Yoda eats lightning and throws it back. A Jedi answer to a Sith trick.

Keep a shape

A Jedi who finishes the Priestesses’ lesson can still speak. A Sith tries to steal a body instead.

Jedi

An Order that served the will and, for a thousand years, also served a Republic.

Morichro

A rare art that slows a body toward death. Many Jedi treated it as legend. A few treated it as a warning.

Unifying Force

Destiny, binding, the view from above the room. Cosmic is the later name for much of the same well.

Vergence

A place — or a life — where the field is thick enough to name.

Kyber

Not a battery. A partner. Ilum’s children find one; Sith make one bleed.

Netherworld of the Force

Death feeds the Cosmic. A few keep a face in that well and walk back.
